Corinth Map

Corinth is located along the Peloponnesian coast of Greece about 48 miles from Athens. The site was built along the coastal plain rising up to an impressive acropolis. Its proximity to the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that connects the Peloponnese peninsula to mainland Greece, put Corinth at a very strategic crossroads. According to the book of Acts, after the apostle Paul left Athens, he spent a year and a half preaching here, where he met Aquila and Priscilla. Paul would later pen letters to the church at Corinth, two of which are preserved in the New Testament as 1 and 2 Corinthians. Produced by RiddleMaps.com.
